This redevelopment will give outdoor green space and link miles of river and canal walkways, which will also allow access to the city centre on car free paths for both cyclists and walkers.

Wakefield is a good-sized cathedral city and as such has a strong retail offering with a great selection of high street shops in the centre. Leeds is just 8 miles away and boasts a huge range of shopping and restaurant experiences. The development is well covered by major supermarkets as well as several international food stores. Wakefield has a thriving restaurant scene and a wide range of cuisines to choose from. The city also offers a great variety of bars and pubs for an evening out.

Wakefield train station in the city centre provides access to Leeds in less than 20 minutes and from Leeds London is 2 hours 15 minutes. For air travel, Leeds Bradford airport is under 45 minutes travel time.
