When you know, you know
Home is where the heart is
First time buyers, Zoe (35) and Liz (25) wanted to start their lives together in a home all of their own and used the government-backed Help to Buy: Equity Loan scheme, to help get onto the property ladder. But that’s not all the couple has to celebrate.
The initiative meant they could buy their four-bedroom Dunham home with just a 5% deposit. Zoe said: “Our jaws hit the ground when we saw the living space with the skylight windows… we couldn't believe we could afford it.”
The key to her heart
As well as planning the big move, Zoe had been waiting for the perfect moment to pop an even bigger question to Liz and decided there was no better time than on the day they moved into their brand new dream home together. She planned a surprise proposal with a little bit of help from the Countryside team and decorated the house in banners and balloons so that it was ready for Liz the moment they stepped foot into their new home.
Truly, madly, deeply
Zoe said: “When we reserved, I asked our sales consultant for help and she was amazing. She pushed the move-in time forward so that I could get in a few hours earlier and put up the decorations. I didn't even have time to really look around our new home because I was frantically putting up a banner and balloons. It was pretty stressful, but so worth it when I saw the look on her face!”
We’re delighted that our team played a small part in making this wonderful proposal take place and we wish Zoe and Liz many years of happiness together as they start their new life in their Countryside home.
