The Spire Shopping Centre also has a long-standing history with Barnet High Street, having been a local landmark since 1989. It gets its name from the remaining spires of the old Methodist church which used to be located on the site of the centre.

The area also has an impressive amount of woodland and urban walks; the Dollis Valley walk which has a brook running through it and Oak Hill Woods Nature Reserve. Old Court House Recreation Ground, Greenhill Gardens and Monken Hadley Common are all nearby allowing residents the chance to escape a busy London life and enjoy the local woodland.

Residents will have the luxury of having entertainment for all the family on their doorstep. Barnet has an Everyman Cinema and is close to cultural sites, like the Royal Air Force Museum.

The area has plenty of activities on offer for kids, from Dinosaur Safari Adventure Golf, Go Ape and Tudor Park Footgolf Course. Residents can make the most of being on the boarders of leafy Hertfordshire and enjoy horse riding at The Stables Horse Activity Centre, and South Herts Golf Club.
