Beaulieu Keeps Commuters Connected
The undeniable rise in living costs has led to young professionals searching outside of London for their dream home. With excellent commuter links, Chelmsford is one of the top 25 commuter towns based on train times, cost, life satisfaction and house prices.
Keen to find a home with the space to start a family, whilst also benefiting from a convenient commute to work, Keeley and her husband Matthew, have found the perfect compromise at Beaulieu Chase in Chelmsford, Essex.
After a friend had recently purchased a property in Beaulieu Heath, and recommended the area, Keeley and Matthew decided to take the plunge and have a look around – having never considered a new build before.
Keeley explains: “Matthew and I had focused our search on older properties as we like the character that comes with them. However, after looking around the Gardino house-type we were really impressed. The Gardino has its own modern Scandinavian character and has some beautiful features inside.”
But the aesthetics of the house weren’t the only thing to cement Matthew and Keeley’s choice. Looking for a house close to local amenities and good schools as well as being within commutable distance from London, the couple had their sights set on a dream home, which they’ve found at Beaulieu.
Keeley continues: “Where we lived before, we were outside the catchment area for good state schools. We were therefore pleased to hear that a nursery, primary and secondary schools are being built on site, making Beaulieu a perfect place for us to start a family. We also liked the idea of being part of a friendly community and Beaulieu has proved to be just that. Our commute to London now takes around 80 minutes door-to-door, which is ideal. We are looking forward to the opening of the proposed train station at Beaulieu, will make our commute even easier!’”
