Why buy at St Michael's Hurst
There has never been a better time to start thinking about your next move. With many of us at home more than ever before, means we have more time on our hands to research new areas to live. We asked a recent purchaser to tell us what drew him back to Bishop’s Stortford, and why he chose his new at St Michael’s Hurst…
What drew you to St Michael’s Hurst in particular?
“I loved the quirkiness of the property, with the Juliet balcony and lots of natural light. The Bat Willow Hurst Country Park is just across the road and being so close to so much green space is a huge plus point. It’s also reassuring to know that inside, my new home is high quality, but also that the new neighbourhood will always be well looked after too.”
What do you like about the location?
“My two-bedroom coach house was exactly the home I’d been looking for, in the location I wanted. As I used to live in the town, I already know and love it. My son also lives here, and I wanted to be closer to him, so it was a natural choice to move back. The setting of St Michael’s Hurst is ideal too, it’s only a 20-minute walk into the town centre, and there’s a bus if needed, yet we also have the new 16-acre Bat Willow Hurst Country Park just across the road.
Did you always want a new build property?
“Yes - I looked at a few other new developments in the local area, but it was the style and attention to detail at St Michael’s Hurst which really stood out. The finishing touches, from the wooden flooring through to the door handles, all have a very premium feel.”
