The county of Derbyshire spans the Pennines centrally to England, and is home to the Peak District National Park, containing the famous Kinder Scout fell.

The county houses the famous Victorian thermal spa town of Buxton, with an abundance of stunning period architecture, including Buxton Opera House which is well regarded as one of the finest examples of its type. 
 
Being centrally located, the county is well connected, with the M1 motorway close to Derby and trains to either London or Manchester both around 1 hour 30 minutes. For air travel Manchester to the North West or East Midlands to the South provide excellent international travel opportunities.
