Countryside shortlisted for Homebuilder of the Year at the UK Housing Awards 2020
We are proud to announce that Countryside has been shortlisted in the Homebuilder of the Year category at the prestigious UK Housing Awards 2020.
The Homebuilder of the Year category honours housebuilders that have made a real impact on the delivery of quality homes and the lives of the people living in them. Shortlisted entrants have demonstrated innovation in construction, good stakeholder relationships and – most importantly for us – engagement with the community.
This year, we have delivered sector-leading growth whilst continuing to put communities at the heart of everything we do. As well as a 33% increase in home completions, 2019 saw the launch of our new modular panel factory, which will produce around 1,400 homes a year. We also increased our customer satisfaction rating, which is now equivalent to that of a five-star Home Builders Federation (HBF) builder.
But, for us, communities always come first. At Greenwich Millennium Village, we have forged a strong community by putting on regular, spectacular events for residents; at Rochester Riverside, meet-ups for new buyers have helped establish friendships between neighbours.
With numerous volunteering days undertaken in 2019, and the announcement of our pledge to double the number of employees with military connections within the next five years, it has certainly been an exciting year for everyone at Countryside.
We are looking forward to presenting to the judges in March and finding out the winners of this important industry award later this year: the UK Housing Awards will take place on 7 May 2020 at The Grosvenor Hotel in London.
