Helping Hand for Second Steppers in Merseyside
An astounding 50%* of the county’s homeowners moving into their second home are unaware of the help available for selling their existing properties.
Last month, Countryside surveyed the region’s house hunters and found that half of Liverpool homeowners didn’t understand the options available to them when it came to trading up their existing property for a new-build.
The homebuilder is encouraging those families to take advantage of its Part Exchange initiative at its stunning Belgravia site in Gateacre to secure one of its luxury four and five bedroom homes, with prices starting at £400,000.
The scheme enables buyers to ‘trade in’ their current property for a Countryside home. Part Exchange also means buyers can move without the worry of selling their existing house on the open market, whilst eliminating the need for estate agent fees.
The homes at Belgravia come with Countryside’s ‘Spectacular’ features as standard, which could save buyers £1000s on kitchen appliances, bathroom vanity units, fencing and turf, plus lots of other stunning fixtures and features throughout.
Homeowners Paula (44) and Stuart Selwood (40) are just one of many families who have used the Part Exchange scheme to swap their four-bedroom property for a five-bedroom Countryside home.
Paula commented: “Moving house is always stressful as there’s so many factors to consider. Using Countryside’s Part Exchange initiative did help the buying process go quite quickly and we had the keys in around eight weeks.”
Martina Collins, Regional Sales and Marketing Director at Countryside, commented: “It’s natural for families to outgrow their current home and selling a property can be an extremely stressful experience, especially for families who have young children and are eager to relocate to a larger home. Part Exchange has been designed to offer a helping hand to these families. It allows buyers to secure a sale for their existing property, at market value, and they could even be moved into their new home in just a matter of weeks.”
Belgravia is a short walk from Gateacre Village, which is a bustling area filled with pubs, shops and a charming village atmosphere. It’s also just six miles from the thriving centre of Liverpool and benefits from excellent transport links to the surrounding cities.
