Live, Work, Play: Enjoy the Best of London Life with Countryside

According to research from CBRE, 60 per cent of millennials believe that the city is an appealing place to work. Whilst millennials appear to be attracted to the vibrant capital, the CBRE report also suggests that for most, the longest tolerable commute is 30 minutes.

For home hunters keen to enjoy the best of London, whilst benefiting from excellent transport links, Countryside has a large portfolio of homes available for sale in the city and its outer suburbs, allowing purchasers to strike up the perfect live, work, play balance.

Countryside has a range of sites across London including Acton, Greenwich, Mill Hill, East London and Barnet. In order to suit the needs of a modern-day purchaser, developments are contemporary in design, featuring private outdoor spaces and communal areas, whilst being ideally located to embrace the very best of London living.

Andrew Loveday, Sales Director at Countryside comments: “London is diverse and vibrant, with a huge host of leisure, entertainment and work opportunities, so it is hardly surprising that so many millennials are drawn to the big city. Whether it is work or pleasure that has attracted a purchaser to the capital, our developments incorporate all that is great about London, whilst being excellently located to transport connections. At Countryside, we also understand the need to build communities, so one of our key focuses on each of our London developments is to create and enhance neighbourhoods.”

Many of Countryside’s developments in the capital also offer the London Help to Buy Scheme, helping purchasers step on or move up the property ladder. To qualify, buyers need a deposit of just 5% and a mortgage for up to 55% of the value of the home. The Government will then provide an equity loan of up to 40% of the property’s value, which is interest free for the first five years. The maximum price limit is £600,000.
