Today marks International Women’s Day and this year’s theme to choose to challenge really resonated with me. For me, every day is an opportunity to challenge and I truly believe there are no boundaries irrespective of your gender, ethnicity, religious beliefs, sexual orientation or education and background. In a way, that is what I have done throughout my career.
While we are in this period of change, encouraging creative and constructive thinking through our apprentices is the only way in which we will evolve for the better and fully reflect our company values.
As we continue to build on our responsibilities for mental health as an employer, we hope that we are able to be there as a shoulder to lean on for everyone at Countryside – whether a working parent or someone living alone – in the years to come and not just for Blue Monday.
