A playground improvement project at St Margaret’s at Troy Town School in Rochester, part-funded by the Rochester Riverside Community Board, was completed in time for the start of the new school term last month.

Countryside catches up with Saloua Oussalah, centre administrator at the Acton Gardens Community Centre. A key part of Acton Gardens, Countryside and L&Q’s regeneration of the South Acton Estate in west London, the Community Centre was officially opened in July 2019 as part of a new hub for residents which is also home to a youth centre, dental practice, incubator workspace and local supermarket.
Countryside, the UK’s leading mixed-tenure developer, has donated a total of £10,000 from its Communities Fund to Waltham Forest Council as part of the local authority’s drive to support community groups and charities in the Marlowe Road area that have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
