Countryside receives double shortlisting at the UK Business Awards
The UKBA, now in their third year, acknowledge organisations and individuals that have demonstrated exceptional business performance. The UKBA are open to both SMEs and large organisations across different sectors of the UK economy.
The Best Place to Work category recognises companies that have successfully attracted and retained staff by creating an engaging, supportive and rewarding environment in the workplace, making employees feel trusted and valued.
The Management, Education and Training category acknowledges teams or individuals that have been tasked with training and educating management teams within an organisation, resulting in a transformation in business performance. Judges take into consideration both internal resources, such as the HR department, and external training initiatives.
These shortlistings are a reflection of our efforts to develop the best talent at all levels, recruiting apprentices, management trainees and expanding the graduate programme. We aim to attract, develop and retain talented staff that support our values and promote a culture of teamwork, enjoyment and continuous professional development.
The UKBA awards finals will take place on 7 December at the Park Plaza Riverbank in London where shortlisted companies and individuals will deliver a presentation that will help determine the winners.
