Award-winning homebuilder, Countryside, has been presented with two of the top awards at the Barnet Architecture Awards. Countryside’s Brook Valley Gardens development took the top accolade, being awarded first place, whilst The Mount at Millbrook Park was awarded second.

Held on the 21st of November 2017, winners were announced at a formal ceremony at Middlesex University Quadrangle. Working with ‘Delivering for Barnet’, an extensive regeneration programme being introduced to the area, The Barnet Architecture Awards celebrate and promote well-designed buildings and open spaces that enhance the life of Barnet’s Residents.

Graham Cherry, Chief Executive of Countryside Partnerships South comments: “We are delighted to win these awards at the Barnet Architecture Awards. We work closely with local authorities to provide much needed, well designed housing as well as open space and community facilities to benefit everyone in the surrounding community. We are so pleased that these efforts have been recognised on two of our schemes.”

Brook Valley Gardens is a new collection of homes, located in Chipping Barnet, EN5. A range of one, two and three-bedroom apartments and three and four-bedroom homes are available, designed as a contemporary take on the original garden suburbs of the former Dollis Valley Estate. Sitting on the edge of Greater London’s urban landscape where it meets with the borders of leafy Hertfordshire, the regeneration project focuses on the principles of green open space, community, good design and healthy living.

The Mount is a collection of contemporary homes located within the popular Millbrook Park neighbourhood. The exquisitely designed collection of luxury three and four-bedroom townhouses enjoy an elevated position overlooking the city of London in one direction and lush Hertfordshire countryside in the other.
