Countryside shortlisted at the RESI Awards

Countryside has been shortlisted at the RESI Awards in the Large Developer of the Year category. These awards, organised by Property Week, celebrate the achievements of companies, teams and individuals working in the residential property sector, spanning leading developers, landlords, house builders, operators, investors, agencies and local authorities.

The Large Developer of the Year category acknowledges housebuilders that have reported significant results in 2018. The category celebrates outstanding achievements, commitment to sustainability and placemaking, as well as pioneering new techniques.

Last year was an outstanding year of growth for Countryside: 2018 saw us become the UK’s fastest-growing listed homebuilder, exceeding the targets we set at the time of our IPO in 2016. We saw a significant uplift in completions and an increased adjusted operating profit, which exceeded the previous year’s results by 28%. We also worked to improve efficiency in housebuilding, investing in an off-site manufacturing facility in Warrington, where an automated production line will include all windows, first-fix plumbing and electrical channels, insulation and plasterboard in a closed-panel system.

This shortlisting is a testament to our team work and commitment to delivering products to the highest standard. Having reached several major construction milestones at some of our flagship developments, we are looking forward to building on last year’s prosperity, delivering growth in 2019 and continuing to create places people love.

We look forward to the awards ceremony, which will take place on 15 May at Grosvenor House, London, where the winners will be announced.
