Feature17 makes the Shortlist at the RESI Awards 2018

Feature17, a mixed-use development on the 50-year old Marlowe Road estate in the London Borough of Waltham Forest (LBWF) developed by Countryside, has been shortlisted for ‘Development of the Year’ at the prestigious RESI Awards 2018.

When fully complete, Feature17 will provide 436 new homes, with 38% affordable, and including 150 council homes for social rent. These much-needed homes will be located in Waltham Forest, recently announced as the inaugural London Borough of Culture in 2019.

In its seventh year, the RESI Awards, organised by Property Week, celebrates the residential property market and its successes of the past year. The winners will be announced at a glittering award ceremony held at Grosvenor House Hotel on Friday 16 May 2018.

Andy Fancy, Managing Director for North & South London at Countryside Partnerships South, said: I am thrilled that Feature17 has been recognised as a worthy candidate in the Development of the Year category. Walthamstow has seen some difficulty in the past decade, however Feature17 is an excellent example of the local community, council and Countryside collaborating, bringing investment to the borough and overcoming political pressures through their commitment to reviving the neighbourhood.

We are proud to play an integral part in the creation of a significantly improved neighbourhood, which is transforming the area and already making a real difference to local residents’ lives – this is only the beginning.
